A founder who had just sold, introduced to a wealth management firm

Fixed
Fee, paid by the firm
$0
Cost to the individual
4
Documents: agreement, memo, invoice, routing email
The two sides

An individual who had just sold, and a wealth management firm that wanted exactly that client.

What happened
01
We identified an individual who had just sold and asked him one question: did he need a wealth manager? He did.
02
We found the firm that fit, agreed a fixed fee with the firm and signed the introduction agreement before any name passed.
03
The firm paid, we routed the introduction by email, then stepped back. The individual paid nothing.
The lesson

Ask before you pitch. One question tells you whether the person has the need, and only then does a firm get a name. The fee is fixed and the individual never pays.
