School internet and Wi-Fi (E-Rate)

We put schools that have posted a request in front of the network, cabling and Wi-Fi companies that have done that exact work nearby, before the school’s signing date. The company pays a fixed fee. The school never pays.

We have served clients in this market.

How the market works
Demand side

Schools that have posted a request for internet, switches or Wi-Fi and must wait 28 days before they may sign. We know each school’s signing date and its technical contact.

Supply side

Companies approved to sell to schools, picked only if they have done that exact work nearby: internet providers, network integrators, cabling crews.

School needs internet. Internet company gives internet. Federal school funding pays the bill: about $2.7B a year through E-Rate. Nearly one in five real contracts draws a single bid or none.

A school must post its request and wait 28 days. The school is announcing: I am buying this, here is my date. What a company is buying from us is the opening it would have missed, while there is still time to bid, at a school that has already answered. We sell access and timing, never exclusivity.

How we work it
01
Pull this week’s requests, soonest signing date first
02
Write to the school’s technical contact: is the request still open?
03
When a school answers, pull up to five companies that did exactly that work nearby
04
Read the school’s full request, not the label, before writing to a single company
05
Fee, terms, one introduction email, the same business day
Fee

Fixed fee per introduction, paid by the company, never by the school (a public school buys through its own posted request and cannot pay a broker). Live introductions have been priced at $2,480.
